December 2025 Tailstrike Aircraft Update

128 New Aircraft Added to Tailstrike

The most common request since open beta launch has been simple and consistent: more planes. So here you go!

Today, Tailstrike adds 128 new aircraft, bringing the total fleet to 619 persistent, real-world registrations. This update is driven directly by community suggestions: aircraft types, airlines, and specific registrations pilots asked to see on the network.

By the numbers

  • Total aircraft: 619
  • Freighter: 50
  • Military: 10
  • Special: 2

GA favorites (and a tongue twister)

  • N900ZZ — Beechcraft B36TC Bonanza (BT36), KT30
  • N2MK — Piaggio P-180 Avanti (P180), KCMH
  • N216CC — Cessna C182 Skylane (C182), KDVT
  • G-CMYK — Beechcraft Duchess (BE76), EGKA

Jaraffe from the Tailstrike community requested Bonanzas, so we added Bonanzas! N900ZZ is one of two turbine Bonanzas included, and it becomes the top tongue-twister registration on Tailstrike. Good luck on frequency!

This update is a direct response to what pilots asked for: more aircraft and more variety. We'll continue to add new aircraft, so keep the suggestions coming. This won’t be the last fleet expansion!

To submit an aircraft suggestion, comment in the #aircraft section on the official Tailstrike Discord server, or send an email to team@tailstrike.io.

Happy flying

Tailstrike is a persistent shared world for flight simulation. Every aircraft is one shared airframe with its own history. Land it, and it stays where you left it, with the fuel you left in it, waiting for the next pilot.
